Every time I realize how long it’s been since I last wrote, and I read my previous posts, I smack my head and wonder why the heck I don’t write more often! It’s so therapeutic and I so enjoy it! So here I am again, a year and a half later, updating my blog (and you) on my life and thoughts. So much has happened and I feel incredibly blessed!
Remember that guy I told you about? The one I met on that dating app called Bumble in July 2020? Well, I was right…he was and is THE ONE! So I married him. On May 28th, 2022. He’s honestly the best man I’ve ever met and we are very happy together. Our marriage has God at the center and although we have and still are facing some very difficult family issues, we are totally united and stronger than ever. It feels so good to be in a healthy, loving, respectful marriage! Praise Jesus! And although I don’t think this phrase holds true in every situation, for this one it does… the third time was definitely the charm!
Guess what else? I started a podcast! It’s called…wait for it…Authentically T. Shocking right? I know, it’s not the best name and if you check it out you’ll see that it is rough. I had no idea how to start a podcast so I googled a little and bought a microphone and subscribed to Buzzsprout and learned how to record an intro on Audacity and… I’m fumbling along. I’m about to record my 3rd episode (the first one is just a short intro but still…this will officially be #3) and I have a list of topics that I cannot wait to explore! Some will be with guests, like the last one I did with that wonderful husband I was just bragging about. We shared some of our love story and we had so much fun doing it. Some episodes will be fun, lighthearted and hopefully funny. Others will be serious, heavy and hopefully life changing for at least one listener. I don’t have any expectations for the podcast, other than enjoying the process and using it as just another way to connect with people.
